11.7. Lower spherical hinge of a forward suspension bracket

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

The special Peugeot 0615J tool is necessary for installation of the lower spherical hinge of a forward suspension bracket. In the absence of this tool you make replacement of the lower spherical hinge at the station.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a rotary fist and a nave from the car.
	2. Remove the lower protective plate of the spherical hinge.
3. Using the hammer and a flat punch, beat out a clamp of the spherical hinge.
	4. Install the special tool on the spherical hinge, having combined the tool with grooves (are specified by shooters) in the spherical hinge, and fix the tool, screwing an old nut on the spherical hinge. Unscrew the spherical hinge from a rotary fist.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Screw up the spherical hinge in a rotary fist.

2. Install the special tool, being careful not to damage a protective cover of the spherical hinge, and tighten the hinge the required moment.

3. Using the hammer and a punch, fuller the spherical hinge in one of grooves of a rotary fist.

4. Establish a new protective plate of the spherical hinge.

5. Install a rotary fist together with a nave on the car.
