CONTACT GROUP OF THE LOCK OF IGNITION
Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove the negative plug from the accumulator. |
2. Open a cover of a key block and disconnect the electric socket. Turn on 90 ° a clip and uncover a box with fuses. Unscrew screws of fastening and remove the lower finishing of the dashboard. |
3. Unscrew screws of fastening of the lower casing of a steering column and remove the top and lower casings from a column. |

4. Insert a key into the lock of ignition and turn it in the first situation. Shift a fastening bracket, return a key to non-working situation and take it from the ignition lock. |
|
5. Remove a bracket of fastening of contact group of the ignition lock. |
|
6. Take contact group from a back part of the case of the lock of ignition. |
7. Disconnect the electric socket located on wires of contact group of the lock of ignition. |

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Before installation combine openings in the center of contact group with the lock cylinder. Due to the asymmetrical form of the operating lock cylinder pin the contact group can be established only in one situation. |
2. Put contact group of the lock of ignition in its back part and fix by a bracket. |
3. Turn a key in the ignition lock in the first situation so that the cylinder of the lock was completely combined with the case. Move a fastening bracket into place and check operation of the lock of ignition. |
4. Connect the electric socket of contact group of the lock of ignition to the main plait of wires. |
5. Further installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. |

IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER
Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove contact group of the lock of ignition. |

2. Put forward the ignition lock cylinder from the case, noting an arrangement of the lock of a steering column. Uncover the lock cylinder. |

3. Pay attention to an arrangement of adjusting pins in the case of the lock of ignition and if necessary take them. |

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Combine the lock of a steering column with the cylinder of the lock of ignition and install a decorative cover on the ignition lock cylinder. Check that adjusting pins are in the place in the ignition lock case. Install the ignition lock cylinder assembled in the case. At the same time combine the lock of a steering column with a groove in the case. |
2. Put contact group of the lock of ignition. |

IGNITION LOCK
Prevention
At installation of the lock of ignition it is necessary to use the new cut-off bolts.
Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove the negative plug from the accumulator. Remove a steering wheel. |
2. Disconnect the electric socket of contact group of the lock of ignition from the main plait of wires. |

3. Using the hammer and a drift (punch), unscrew the cut-off bolts of fastening of the lock of ignition (are specified by shooters), tapping on their edges with a drift around an axis until they cannot be unscrewed a hand. Unscrew bolts completely and remove the ignition lock from a steering column. |

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Put the ignition lock on a steering column and fix by the new cut-off bolts. |
2. Evenly and gradually tighten the cut-off bolts until they are not slightly tightened. Check operability of the lock of ignition then tighten each bolt so that the bolt head was cut off. |
3. Connect the electric socket of the lock of ignition to the main plait of wires. |
