GENERAL INFORMATION

The indicator of hour type with an adapter installed on the fuel pump Bosch

Prevention

For conducting check and adjustment it is necessary to use the indicator of hour type and an adapter of Peugeot No. 0117AK.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If the moment of injection of the pump is checked on the pump installed on the engine after installation of the pump for the former place remove the negative plug of the accumulator and close the generator of alternating current pure fabric or a plastic bag not to allow hit in the fuel generator.
2. Remove pipelines of nozzles.
3. Install the gas distribution mechanism before combination of adjusting openings, then turn the crankshaft on a quarter of a turn counterclockwise.
4. On the pump unscrew the stopper located in a back part of the fuel pump, in the center between connections of pipelines of nozzles.
5. Instead of a stopper screw in an adapter with the indicator of hour type. Establish a measuring tip of the indicator in the middle of the course and reliably tighten a lock-nut (see rice. The indicator of hour type with an adapter installed on the fuel pump Bosch).
6. Slowly rotate the crankshaft in both parties and watch an indicator arrow to define that the piston of the fuel pump is in the lower dead point. After installation of the piston establish an arrow of the indicator on zero.
7. Slowly rotate the crankshaft in the working direction until the blocking core of the crankshaft is not able to be established.
8. The value shown on the indicator has to be equally set in technical characteristics. If it is necessary to make adjustment, weaken forward and back nuts and bolts of fastening and slowly rotate a pump housing until until the indicator shows the required value then tighten bolts and nuts of fastening of the pump.
9. Turn the crankshaft on 1 and 3/4 turns in the working direction of its rotation and, slowly turning the crankshaft in different directions, install the indicator of hour type on zero.
10. Slowly turn the crankshaft in the working direction of its rotation until a core of blocking it is possible to block the crankshaft. Repeatedly check the value measured by the indicator of hour type.
11. If it is necessary to make repeated adjustment, weaken nuts and bolts of fastening of the pump and repeat earlier described actions.
12. When the moment of injection of fuel is adjusted, unscrew an adapter and remove the indicator of hour type.
13. Establish a cap instead of an adapter and reliably tighten it.

14. Install pipelines of nozzles, connect the accumulator and remove air from fuel system.
