3.3.18.1. Choice of an insert of the bearing

GENERAL INFORMATION

On the majority of engines two sizes of connecting rods are used: the standard size for use with the standard crankshaft and the increased size for use with the crankshaft repolished once.

Before installation of the lower head of a rod check a working gap of the conrod bearing as it is specified in subsection 3.3.18.2.
