1. Using engine oil, establish the top persistent half rings from each party of the radical bearing No. 2, and lubricant flutes have to be directed to the crankshaft.
2. Establish inserts of bearings on the places. Oil a working surface of an insert pure engine. For the correct installation of the lower insert combine a ledge on an insert with a groove on a cover (shooter).
3. Install the crankshaft in the block of cylinders so that radical necks of the 2nd and 3rd cylinders were in VMT. Check an axial gap of the crankshaft.
4. Grease the lower inserts in covers of radical bearings with pure engine oil and check that ledges on inserts are in cover grooves.
5. Establish covers of radical bearings with the 2nd on the 5th and screw them, without tightening.
6. Apply a thin film of sealant on the interfaced surface of the block of cylinders with a cover of the first bearing.
7. Establish consolidation from two parties in a bearing No. 1 cover groove.
8. At installation of a cover for protection of consolidation against shift it is necessary to use two metal strips 0,25 mm thick.
9. Oil both parties of metal strips engine and fix them on consolidation. Establish a cover of the bearing No. 1, insert into it bolts and screw up them a hand then flat-nose pliers pull out metal strips.
10. Gradually and consistently tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings the required moment. Using a sharp knife, cut off the ends of consolidation so that they acted over the surface of the block of cylinders approximately on 1 mm.
11. On the 1.6 and 1.8 liters petrol engines establish forward and back covers of bearings and tighten bolts the required moment.
12. Establish a new sealing ring on a back part of the crankshaft.
13. Install pistons with rods.
14. Establish a segment spline and the leading asterisk of the oil pump with laying. Establish a chain of the drive of the oil pump on an asterisk.
15. Check that the surfaces of interface of a forward cover and the block of cylinders pure and dry.
16. Apply a thin film of sealant on the surface of interface of a cover of forward consolidation and screw it bolts. Install a new forward sealing ring on the crankshaft. Check a chain arrangement on a crankshaft asterisk, install the oil pump and the pallet.
17. If the head of the block of cylinders was removed, then establish it.
