Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Press a brake pedal several times at the idle engine to create identical pressure in cavities of the vacuum amplifier (close to atmospheric). |
2. At the same time determine by the effort enclosed to a pedal whether there is no jamming of the case of the valve. |
3. Stop a brake pedal in the middle of its course and start the engine. At the serviceable vacuum amplifier the brake pedal after launch of the engine has to leave forward. If the pedal does not leave forward, check fastening of a tip of a hose, a condition of fastening of a flange of a tip in the amplifier, a condition of a hose and the union. |
4. On cars with diesel engines check also operability of the vacuum pump. |

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove the main brake cylinder. |
2. Weaken a collar and disconnect a vacuum hose from the unilateral valve of the vacuum amplifier of brakes. In interior of the car uncover a box with fuses. |
3. Disconnect the electric socket from a key block, unscrew screws of fastening and remove the lower finishing of the dashboard. Remove a bracket of fastening and take a pin with a head and an opening under the forelock, the fixing brake pedal pusher to the vacuum amplifier of brakes. |
4. Unscrew the nuts fixing the vacuum amplifier to a partition of a motor compartment, take it. |

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Before installation of the vacuum amplifier measure distance from the end of a pusher of the vacuum amplifier to the interfaced surface of the main brake cylinder which has to make 22,3±0,1 mm. |
2. Make sure that laying is correctly established on a back part of the vacuum amplifier, then establish the vacuum amplifier in a motor compartment. |
3. Check that the pusher is correctly combined with a brake pedal, then screw nuts of fastening of the vacuum amplifier and tighten them the required moment. |
4. Combine a pedal with a pusher, insert a pin with a head and an opening under the forelock and fix by fastening brackets. Establish the lower finishing of the dashboard. |
5. Connect a vacuum hose to the unilateral valve and fix by a collar. |
6. Install the main brake cylinder and remove air from the brake system. |
