4.3. Radiator

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the negative plug from the accumulator.
2. Merge cooling liquid from the cooling system.
3. Remove the electric socket from the thermal sensor of turning on of the fan. The sensor is screwed in in a radiator.
4. Disconnect cooling system hoses from a radiator.
5. In the top part of a radiator remove brackets of fastening of a radiator and reject a radiator to the engine. Being careful, remove a radiator so that not to damage a radiator plate. Be attentive not to lose the lower rubber support of a radiator.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If the radiator was removed in connection with reduction of capacity, wash out its stream waters in two directions. Outside blow a radiator compressed air.
2. If the radiator proceeds, do not try to make or solder the place of a leakage since plastic details of a radiator will be damaged.
3. Insignificant leakage of a radiator can be eliminated with radiator sealant use.
4. Check a condition of the lower rubber support of a radiator and if necessary replace them.

Installation


PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal, taking into account the next moments:
      – check that the lower ledges on a radiator are correctly established in a forward cross-piece;
      – at connection of hoses to a radiator use new ring consolidations in connectors;
      – in conclusion fill up the cooling system.
