5.1.15. System of production of exhaust gases
GENERAL INFORMATION

System of production of exhaust gases multisection. The reception exhaust pipe is attached by bolts with an internal sealing ring. The catalyst is located in a forward part of the exhaust system.

The system of production of exhaust gases is suspended to a body on rubber pillows.

Each section of system of production of exhaust gases can be removed separately or after removal of all system of release.

Removal

RECEPTION EXHAUST PIPE

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For removal install systems of production of exhaust gases the car over a viewing hole or lift on the elevator.
2. Unscrew fastenings (are specified by shooters) a reception exhaust pipe to a collector.
3. Unscrew fastenings of a reception exhaust pipe to an intermediate exhaust pipe. Remove a reception exhaust pipe together with ring consolidations from under the car.

INTERMEDIATE EXHAUST PIPE AND MUFFLER

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For removal install systems of production of exhaust gases the car over a viewing hole or lift on the elevator.
2. Unscrew bolts of a coupling ring and disconnect an intermediate pipe from a reception exhaust pipe and a back exhaust pipe. On some cars the grounding tire which fastens to a bolt of a coupling ring can be installed.
3. Disconnect an intermediate pipe from rubber pillows and remove it from under the car.

BACK EXHAUST PIPE AND MUFFLER

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For removal install systems of production of exhaust gases the car over a viewing hole or lift on the elevator.
2. Weaken a bolt of fastening of a coupling ring and disconnect a back exhaust pipe from intermediate.
3. Disconnect a back exhaust pipe from rubber pillows of a suspension bracket and take from under the car.

HEAT-SHIELDING SCREENS

Heat-shielding screens are attached to a body and can be removed after removal of the corresponding section of system of production of exhaust gases.
