5.1.11. System of injection Bosch Motronic MP511

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

During the work on fuel system it is necessary to take off previously pressure in system.


FUEL HIGHWAY AND NOZZLES

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative plug of the accumulator.
2. Remove a vacuum pipe from the fuel regulator of pressure (it is specified by an arrow).
3. Remove hoses of supply of fuel and returnable hoses from the fuel highway.
4. Switch-off electric sockets and hoses from a forward part of the fuel highway.
5. Remove electric sockets from fuel nozzles.
6. Unscrew fastening bolts (are specified by shooters) the fuel highway and remove it from an inlet collector. Remove consolidation from each nozzle.
7. Take nozzles from the fuel highway and remove the top sealing rings of round section which have to be replaced with new.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
2. Consider the next moments:
     – establish new sealing rings of round section on nozzles;
     – for simplification of installation oil engine ring consolidations and establish nozzles and the fuel highway into place so that any of ring consolidations was not displaced;
     – start the engine and check tightness of fuel system.

FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative plug of the accumulator.
2. Disconnect a vacuum tube from the regulator.
3. Having enclosed pure rags under the regulator weaken a collar and take the fuel regulator from the highway.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.

POTENTIOMETER OF PROVISION OF THE BUTTERFLY VALVE

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Weaken a bracket and remove the electric socket from a potentiometer.
2. Unscrew two screws and remove a potentiometer from an axis of a butterfly valve.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL DEVICE (ECU)

ECU is located in a plastic box which is installed on a forward right longeron.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before removal of a cover of a box of the ECU block check that ignition is switched off. On models with the automatic transmission there are two ECU blocks in a box. The block operating a power supply system and ignitions is located closer to the engine.
2. Switch-off the electric socket, previously having lifted the lock lever in the top part of the socket up. Remove the socket from a back part, disconnect a forward part and remove the ECU block from pins.
3. Lift the ECU block up take from the car.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.

ENGINE OF MANAGEMENT OF THE IDLING MODE

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The engine of management of the mode of idling is located sideways cases of throttles.
2. Release a bracket and remove the socket from the engine.
3. Unscrew two screws and remove the engine of management of the idling mode.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.

THE SENSOR OF THE ABSOLUTE MOVEMENT IN THE COLLECTOR

The sensor is located on an inlet collector.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the electric socket and a vacuum hose.
2. Remove the sensor from a collector.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.

THE SENSOR OF TEMPERATURE OF THE ARRIVING AIR

Removal

The sensor of temperature of the arriving air is located from a reverse side of an inlet collector.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the electric socket.
2. Unscrew the sensor and take it from the car.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.

SENSOR OF POSITION OF THE CRANKSHAFT

The sensor of position of the crankshaft is located on the coupling case face.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Track an electrical wiring from the sensor to a connector of an electrical wiring and disconnect it from the main plait.
2. Unscrew a bolt of fastening and by means of the lever take the sensor from the rubber condensing ring.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.

CAR SPEED SENSOR

The car speed sensor – an integral part of the drive of a speedometer.

DETONATION SENSOR

The sensor of a detonation is screwed in on a forward part of the block of cylinders.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For access to the sensor tighten the emergency brake and lift a forward part of the car. Remove a mudguard from under the engine.
2. Track an electrical wiring from the sensor to a connector of an electrical wiring and disconnect it from the main plait.
3. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of the sensor to the block of cylinders and remove the sensor from under the car.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.

ECU SYSTEM RELAY

The relay of the ECU block is located in a plastic box which is installed on a forward right longeron.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check that ignition is switched off and uncover a box.
2. Switch-off the electric socket and remove the relay from an installation plate.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
